Background
Registered Social Worker (#211) with 25 years of experience supporting tamariki, rangatahi, and whanau. I have worked within the ACC Sensitive Claims pathway since 2015, providing trauma-informed social work support to clients from diverse backgrounds, including men, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and refugees. Prior to this, I spent 16 years working in schools, supporting young people and their families, and two years with Child, Youth and Family as a High and Complex Needs Coordinator following my study placement. This range of experience has given me a deep understanding of systemic challenges and the importance of responsive, collaborative practice.

I use strengths-based and task-centred approaches to support clients in achieving practical goals and rebuilding independence, particularly within the ACC social work framework. Im based in Hamilton and can travel to meet client needs where appropriate.
