Veronica George

I am a Registered Psychologist based in Whangarei and am passionate about supporting people to reconnect with themselves following adversity so that they can orient towards living life in a way that aligns with their values and goals, leading to a greater sense of vitality. This includes teaching skills to manage triggers, and the associated thoughts and feelings, in ways that allow conscious responses to be made, instead of being governed by automatic reactions, fostering a greater sense of autonomy and overall wellbeing. I use various therapeutic frameworks, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also a certified Dyadic Developmental Practitioner. I like to work holistically, integrating mind, body and spirit in the healing journey.
